Roundtable talk: AI in Healthcare

Data Analytics Group organized a talk on the recent contributions of data science and artificial intelligence in healthcare and medical research. The event featured three keynote speakers:

• Prof. Sven Haller, neuro-radiologist at CIRD Geneva and visiting associate Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden.

He presented AI in clinical radiology, expaling emerging applications and limitations.

• Prof. Jean-Pierre Hubaux, head of the Laboratory for Data Security at EPFL

      He talked about security with data during a pandemic.

• Dr. Naghmeh Ghazaleh, senior data scientist at Roche after a PhD at the Medical Image Processing Lab at EPFL

She presented Huntington’s disease and how AI is used for prognostic feature identification associated with the disease progress
