Visium: Machine Learning with Apache Beam

We hosted a code-along workshop where Jimi, a Machine Learning Engineer from Visium, gave a tutorial on the basics of Apache Beam!

Apache Beam is a unified programming model that helps handle batch and streaming data processing jobs. Its goal is to reduce time spent on processing continuous flows of data.

While this technology is not taught at EPFL, it’s an essential component in any data scientist’s toolkit.
